I am a little confused about the Italian law, I am holder of a UK CBT driving license and i can drive a scooter up to 125CC with the L plates. I was wondering if with the CBT i can drive a scooter up to 125CCin Italy.

What are the pedals for in a moped? Do I have to pedal to get it started or can I just start the engine from the get go?

I just bought a Ricardo 150 Touring scooter, and thought I had read somewhere that the first time you start it, you have to kick the kick-start several times to building up compression. After that, you can just use the electric start.

Is that true?

I have a 5 year old son. I need to get him a helmet for his bicycle, and scooter. I notice at the stores they have bicycle helmets and then they have a helmet for all other activieties. Why? Which is best?

I am looking for a scooter that I will drive on a daily basis about 100 miles round trip. I did some research and figured I would need a 150 cc at least. I went to the places here that sell them and some online scooterdepot, safewholesale and atvdeals those companies are at least 1/2 of what the local companies sell. The dealers up here said that they don’t sell quality scooters. So I need to know if anybody can give me any advice?

I live in California (Los Angeles) and I want a scooter but I don’t know what I need to present to have a scooter registered. I have heard that Chinese scooters can’t and can be registered. Can someone please tell me what a scooter needs to have in order for it to be registered and ridden in California; on the freeways and streets.

Gas prices are just (UGH!) I am not the best driver out there as is. I was thinking of buying a scooter since they are cheap and fuel efficient. Would they be safer than a motorcycle?
