I am trying to find a scooter that would be safe yet fun, and be something that he could use for several years to come. I worry that the scotters with 2 wheels in front and back go too slowly, even for a young child. The razor scooter says it's appropriate for children 5 and over, but would this go too fast? Can you control the speed on the razor scooter easily so that it does not go too fast?

DVD'S For Under $1

Two days ago, I bought a Razor E175 electric scooter. It works fine. The speed is a little on the low, though. It's only aboutr 8 MPH. However, I don't really care.
The battery life is what I'm worried about. It only lasts for 40 minutes. Is there any way I can improve the battery life without buying a new battery?
