It's brand new, and I have never worked on a scooter before. I'm told I need brake fluid, transmission fluid, and oil. I believe the person I bought it from mentioned two kinds. Also, I've heard a few people mention mixing the gas and oil--is that relevant for this kind of scooter, and if so how do I do that?

Moped is half bike and half motorcycle,right? I've never seen people riding mopeds here in Southern California where I live.

I see a ton of people driving mopeds like this around town and I'm planning on buying one. I know it's street legal, but I was wondering what the rules are, for Florida, for this type of moped.

Do you need a motor cycle driver's license?
Do you need insurance? (I have Geico right now)
