I do not have a motorcycle license, so I cannot rent a motorcycle but I would like to rent a scooter for a few days to take from Venice to Rome. Does anyone know how much this will cost? Could I get away with a 50cc? or a 100-125cc? or do I need a 250cc to take that far?

In California, do I need to have a specific motorcycle license if I already have a class-c license and I plan on driving a 50cc or smaller moped? Do I need to take any classes?
