I’m going to Cuenca, Ecuador to study this semester and would like to buy a moped while I’m there. Any estimates on how much I’m looking at spending?

I want a moped really badly. But my parents will probably not let me buy one because of the price and danger of living in China. How can I convince or at least let them consider me having a moped? Suggestions?

i read on a website that it could go faster by removing the clutch but i don’t know where it is located. by removing it the moped should go from 45 to 55 mph.

I have a voy electric moped. It came with a set of three 12 volt batteries. Will adding more batteries to increase the voltage make it faster, or dammage the engin? How many more 12 volt batteries would be ok to add, if any?
