I am planning on getting an electric scooter or moped any time soon. But had couple of questions to those who do have one. First, how/where do you charge your moped? Can you take the battery out, charge the battery and put it back in? Or do you need a space like a garage in order to charge the scooter?

I just purchased a Honda Elite S year 2000 motor scooter/moped. It only goes up to 25 but the speedometer says 35. Is there any way to take the governor off or something along those lines?

I have a suspended drivers license. The SOS says that if you are suspended you can’t drive a motor scooter/moped. My question is have ever heard of anyone being pulled over on a motor scooter and getting in trouble for driving on a suspended. I had heard that if you are under 50cc you didn’t need a license but that must not apply if you have been suspended.

What do you all think, worth the risk? Are cops really concerned about moped drivers and whether they are licensed. Have you ever seen a moped pulled over?

How old do you have to be to be able to drive a motorcycle/moped in the state of PA or at least have a license or something?

I live in Vietnam and drive a Honda Wave everywhere I go. If I ever move back to the US I’d like to look into getting a motorcycle license. I’m still trying to work out the official differences between a moped and a motorcycle but I also wonder if there are major differences in the way a (non-automatic) moped and a big bad motorcycle are driven.

I’ve just moved to a city and can’t bear to sit in traffic so im considering getting a moped. I think i’d be too nervous to drive a proper motorbike.If any of ye have any ideas of what questions i should be askin before buying one it’d be a great help!! I also want a good top speed so i can drive on the motorways! Cheers!
