What can you tell me about possible insurance costs in the Kenosha County area (I have a flawless driving record)? I also would like to know if I need a motorcycle license or anything like that. I'm 13 years old and I'm going to buy a motor scooter that is runned by gasoline. it might be 49cc or 50cc I'm not sure yet. I'm going to buy a honda spree or a aero 50 from '84 i would like to know if I'm allowed to drive it on the streets as being a 13 year old and if i need any paper work or have to have insurance or a license plate or take any course at the dmv.

My friend received a ticket on his scooter for no registration and no insurance. In Las Vegas the regulation states that any scooter over 50cc must meet these requirements. His is 49cc, and we are confused as to what the requirements are.

I would like to get a moped when I get my driver's liscence in a few months or so. Does anyone own a moped and pay insurance for it? I've heard it's much higher than car insurance. And also, would the insurance rate be higher for a new driver, rather than one who has had a liscence for a few years?
