My friend received a ticket on his scooter for no registration and no insurance. In Las Vegas the regulation states that any scooter over 50cc must meet these requirements. His is 49cc, and we are confused as to what the requirements are.

I do not have a motorcycle license, so I cannot rent a motorcycle but I would like to rent a scooter for a few days to take from Venice to Rome. Does anyone know how much this will cost? Could I get away with a 50cc? or a 100-125cc? or do I need a 250cc to take that far?

I am going to waikiki and would like to rent a moped. I don't have a motorcycle license so I could only stick with the 50cc. I weight 185lb. Does anyone have experience in using one of these things for riding around the island to pearl harbor and other attractions?? What about parking it around these areas? Any problems with theft? Thanks! Please give me any advice you have!
