    Mopeds
In Iowa, a moped is defined as “a motor vehicle that has a saddle or seat for the use of the rider and is designed to travel on not more than three wheels in contact with the ground and not capable of operating at a speed in excess of thirty miles per hour on level ground unassisted by human power.”

Basicly In Iowa, you need a license for a moped, never mind a motorcycle which 499cc (Above 50cc) is.

Check with your DMV to find out. Here in NY state you need a motorcycle license for anythibng over 50 cc.

Check out the Burgman Scooters. I drive a 650 they are a blast!! They also have a 400 cc.

    Happy Riding!!
