		<description>Check intake and exhaust valve lash on a cold engine.  Insufficient clearance may be causing improper valve seating and loss of compression.

Sometimes hard to detect, but also check carb to head manifold for cracks and suction leaks . . which would cause a too lean running condition.</description>
