i have a baja SC50 motor scooter that wont work?

I survived Y2K! asked:

im good at fixing small engines but i cant fix ones that have CDI ignition. thats exactly what this cheap scooter has. any suggestions?

   Check electrical connections in spark plug boot, and plug pins at coil end and CDI. Remove spark plug and ground against engine case to verify spark. Squirt a few cc’s of gas directly in the spark plug hole . . kick start.
