i want to get a motor scoooter for christmas but my mom says i need to find out the age restriction in california. please help!

In California it is legal for unlicensed minors to ride a motor scooter of any type provided the licensed vehicle owner has
no objection and the engine is not turned on. Most such get
their first hours this way in the longer downhill private drives
learning brake use and steering. The Department of Motor
Vehicles is in every community telephone book. Telephone them to determine how to obtain all information about your choice of transportation. Ask for a free copy of the Drivers
License Rulebook. Or visit the nearest office and see how
people go about getting their information.

16 with no license or anything, but if your 15ish the cops dont really care. when ur 15 1/2 you can get ur bike permit through taking the MSF class, its great you learn alot and you can get a bike bike
