How much would it cost to clean out the carb on an old moped?

do this yourself.. usually the carb is mounted on four studs with half inch bolts.. buy a socket set… and some screw drivers.. and a one gallon can of cart cleaner .. first take a picture of how the carb is mounted with a digital camera.. after you have it off take a picture of how its assempled.. then take it apart.. you will see a float.. slide out a pin that the float rides on.. shake the float to be shure no liquid is in it.. then imerse the whole carburator in the cleaning solution.. let it soak over night and then remove it letting the solution drain.. then wash it off with a hose.. them reinstall the float .. the gas intake.. blow into it with the carb up right and turn it ujpside down. and blow into it.. now no air should enter.. this is be shure the float is working ..then scrape off any dirt that is left. and make shure it is clean inside and out.. reassemble it on the moped and thats that..
