How much does an electric motor scooter contribute to my electric bill?

Skylar L asked:

I have a Schwinn 750 watt Electric Scooter. I charge it about three times a week. I’m curious to know whether or not this has a significant effect on my monthly electric bill. I have to admit, though, I don’t know much about electricity in general.

So I suppose my question is: How much energy does this thing actually use? How many kwh?

Electric cars cost about 3 to 5 cents a mile to run. I would guess your scooter costs maybe a penny a mile, IE. perhaps about 10 miles per kilowatt hour, more or less.
You would think the manual that comes with the bike would tell you! You could of course get a solar panel that would power the bike for free, but probably expensively!

PS: How fast & far does it go, for the edification of us all. Is it more like an electric bicycle or regular scooter with a floor to carry groceries?
