I would like to increase the range of my Currie Phat Flyer. It has a 24 volt 600 watt motor. I’ve thought about adding another set of batteries in parallel. Will the added wieght of the batteries effect the total distance of the scooter? Or is there a another method that could do this that wouldn’t wiegh as much?
Those batteries are heavy little suckers.

I am going to go back to college in Nacogdoches, TX. I was wondering if there is an electric scooter for about $300.00-$400.00 that goes about 15-20 mph and last for about 15-20 miles. i need something lightweight and easy to store in a dorm room. I’m turning 14 soon and i heard that they are about to change the age that you can drive to 18 so I’m thinking about getting a motor scooter because im way to lazy to bike 2 miles to the mall so what are the regulations and stuff for the state of virginia?

I am in the market for a new 150cc motor scooter, but there are so many new brands that I am not that familiar with. Does anyone have any recommendations on a quality 150cc scooter? I will mostly be cruising around town on it and going on fairly short little joy rides. Thanks in advance.

I live in Washington state. I purchased a used, 2003 Yamaha Vino 50cc scooter/moped on Saturday (May 17th). The scooter came with New Mexico license plates. Can I legally ride it on the roads prior to registering it in Washington and obtaining Washington state plates? If so, how long do I have before I need to get it registered?
