I have lived in Beijing China for a couple years and have spent most of my time traveling by either the use of an electric bicycle or by the means of a motor scooter. I have found both vehicles fun and efficient ways to get where I need to go with very little cost and emission worries. Can I bring these items (or one or the other) back to the USA with me legally, and if so, what might be the easiest way to get them back home? Thank your for answers in advance. Happy Commuting

Last summer I bought a yamaha vino 125, mostly because it gets 70 mpg.

I assume it also helps reduce greenhouse emissions, but does it really? Does a motor scooter burn gasoline as clean as my Honda Civic?

I’m looking into buying a Vespa scooter and want to be able to ride on freeways and highways. The scooter that I’m looking at purchasing tops out at 70 mph. Is that sufficient speed for the highway/freeway? Is weight also a factor when trying to determine the road readiness of your scooter? Thank you in advance.

I have a Schwinn 750 watt Electric Scooter. I charge it about three times a week. I’m curious to know whether or not this has a significant effect on my monthly electric bill. I have to admit, though, I don’t know much about electricity in general.

So I suppose my question is: How much energy does this thing actually use? How many kwh?

What can you tell me about possible insurance costs in the Kenosha County area (I have a flawless driving record)? I also would like to know if I need a motorcycle license or anything like that. i just got a motor scooter it’s a 1 cyl 80 cc motor scooter it doesn’t have enough windshield or other things for it to go on the highway…….but it goes more than 20 mph so in ma does that mean it’s a moped or a motorcycle?
