I live in California (Los Angeles) and I want a scooter but I don’t know what I need to present to have a scooter registered. I have heard that Chinese scooters can’t and can be registered. Can someone please tell me what a scooter needs to have in order for it to be registered and ridden in California; on the freeways and streets.

DVD’S For Under $1

-2001 Honda Scooter
-125cc engine
-Sat for 6 years
-4 stroke
-cleaned carb
-cleaned fuel filter
-new air filter
-drained gas
-new premium gas

All this done but still it will start initially with starter fluid, then die after about 2 min. It will stay running with an additional spray, but I know its bad for the engine.

Please help!!
