The scooter idols just fine and will maintain a good idol but when the gas is applied it often times dies. It is sometime a little hard to start as well. It has a 2 stroke engine.
I would like to stay in the $1000 range, and it must be street legal, with capable speeds of around 45mph.
I’m trying to figure this out: in a given year, how many fatal/permanently injurious accidents occur on motor scooters compared to the number of accidents total? Also, how many motor scooters are on the road at that time? I’d like to know the same for cars…

I’m wondering if I can buy a 50cc or below motor scooter and use it in the bikers lane or sidewalk (i.e. off the street) without being 16. Also, I live in Texas.
im good at fixing small engines but i cant fix ones that have CDI ignition. thats exactly what this cheap scooter has. any suggestions?
I have lived in Beijing China for a couple years and have spent most of my time traveling by either the use of an electric bicycle or by the means of a motor scooter. I have found both vehicles fun and efficient ways to get where I need to go with very little cost and emission worries. Can I bring these items (or one or the other) back to the USA with me legally, and if so, what might be the easiest way to get them back home? Thank your for answers in advance. Happy Commuting

how much does it cost to remove a moped steering lock professionally? (Piaggio Nrg) is it basic enough for me to do myself?
Also, what kind of moped would you recommend I buy? I’m not in the market for one now, but in several years, I plan on purchasing one, and I’m curious about what a good price would be, so I don’t get cheated. Any info you could give would be helpful.
Also, how does one keep a moped secure? How practical are they for travel? I won’t buy one until I live in a city, perhaps overseas.

I’m writing a story where one of the characters gets a moped for Christmas. What would the person giving him the gift tell him that he needs to do to drive it? (legalities) The boy getting the gift is 17 and has a class c driver’s license.
