My manual says I’m not supposed top out my moped for the first 250 miles, and I’ve read similar warnings in car manuals. What’s the reasoning behind this?
I would like to get a moped when I get my driver’s liscence in a few months or so. Does anyone own a moped and pay insurance for it? I’ve heard it’s much higher than car insurance. And also, would the insurance rate be higher for a new driver, rather than one who has had a liscence for a few years?

For example, what are good brakes, good transmission and starter systems, brake systems, engine, battery, drive, compression ratio, all that. I want a good moped for an affordable price, not a cheap one that will fall apart. I’m not a gearhead so I don’t know what to look for.

i read on a website that it could go faster by removing the clutch but i don’t know where it is located. by removing it the moped should go from 45 to 55 mph.
I have a voy electric moped. It came with a set of three 12 volt batteries. Will adding more batteries to increase the voltage make it faster, or dammage the engin? How many more 12 volt batteries would be ok to add, if any?
